MAYKOSMETIK AARAU

Good evening friends and welcome back to another blogpost! This time we're gonna talk about Maykosmetik which is an Oriental Day Spa in my hometown Aarau which I got kindly invited to last Monday - thanks again to Rosine for making this possible. In this little blogpost I'm gonna show you guys a few pictures that I took inside and I'm also gonna talk about the spa itself and what they are offering to their clients. 

When you first enter into the little entrance area I thought that this place must be super tiny but don't be fooled by the foyer you guys cause this place is huge! Already on the left hand side when you enter you can see a huge selection of beautiful color coordinated nail polishes - one of the brands I spotted was Kure Bazaar which I really enjoy using myself! Afterwards I went up the spiral stairs to the first floor where you get to the waiting area. You really get that oriental feel since there are a lot of cushions with ornaments on them that look like from the Middle East. They really go for the whole 'One Thousand and One Nights' theme and they're really digging it. You can even enjoy a little nice and heart-warming tea before your appointment to really calm down and relax. I met up in this area with the lovely Rosine Dätwyler the owner and creator of the Maykosmetik Oriental Day Spa that was established back in 2009. She showed me around different parts of the spa. They have different sections where you can get pedicures or get your nails done. They also offer a lot of different massages and also hair removals. You can even get a nice spray tan which I've never seen here in Switzerland before actually! They use a lot of red curtains in to section off the different parts of the spa and it makes the different rooms look really calming and inviting. They create privacy but makes everything still look open and airy. Every part of this spa is very beautifully decorated with ornaments and lotus flowers. This whole place has a really inviting atmosphere and I highly recommend checking out their website (which I'll link down below) if your from the Aarau area and interested in taking care of your body.

I also got a look behind the scenes where they can actually give beauty classes of all different sorts which is really cool. They want to create something for everyone so that even the ordinary woman - like you and I - can afford and enjoy for example a make up class on how to put on make up the right and most effective way. Rosine also introduced me to a brand really promising brand called Jeunesse which as the name suggests focusses on looking young and youthful. This American brand was established back in 2009 and really focusses on the in- and outside of your body - they have created the so called Youth Enhancement System. I just briefly wanna touch on this subject but if your interested into this brand and their philosophy definitely check out their website for more information on these different products.
Now as I've mentioned Jeunesse believes that the process of healing your body always starts on the inside. That's why they created the ZEN BODI line which help reducing bodyweight and building up muscles. It consists of three phases called Detox, Ignite and Thrive. With the ZEN Project 8, created by the famous fitness expert Mark MacDonald, you can change your current habits into a healthy lifestyle within only 8 weeks. There are also a few other supplements available as well as the nevo-energy drink or the RESERVE gel packs that are drinks which contain different superfoods to support your body!
On the other hand they also have two different skin- and bodycare lines called INSTANTLY AGELESS and LUMINESCE that consist of a couple of different products like serums, lotions and creams - these products claim to help with different skin issues like e.g. acne, wrinkles or pigmentation. Instantly Ageless claims to reduce "the appearance of under-eye bags, fine lines, wrinkles and pores" within only two minutes. On the other hand the Luminesce line is an anti-aging line that "restores youthful vitality and radiance to your skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and reveals your unique glow" which sounds really good to me. 
Jeunesse also came out with a foundation line called NV BE THE ENVY which consists of nine shades in total. This product has light to full coverage which I totally agree on. Rosine demonstrated this foundation to me and sprayed it over her wrist tattoo and where she applied it the foundation completely covered it up. Then she drizzled some water onto the foundation and it didn't move whatsoever. If you're looking for a good foundation with great staying power through out the day, then this one might be one to try for you.

I really enjoyed the overall experience in the Maykosmetik Oriental Day Spa. Everyone was super kind and I got shown a lot of different things which obviously made great and interesting content for today blogpost - plus it switched things on here a little bit up which is always great. What I really like about their website is the fact that they have listed everything that you can have done at the Maykosmetik Oriental Day Spa. It tells you how long it takes and also the cost of it.
